3 Week Board and Train Option **Inquire for rates
This option is typically tailored for dogs that would best be described as having ”mild” or “stressful” control issues. The dogs that go through this training option benefit from the duration of training and being held accountable for their actions for 3 weeks in succession. Dogs that go through our 3 week train option are, normally but not limited to, dogs who suffer from kennel aggression/anxiety, anxiousness around loud noise exposure, vet anxiety, food aggression, dog reactivity and leash reactivity. Dogs that need basic to intermediate obedience training also use this option.

40 Day+ Board and Train **inquire for rates
This option is for your “hopeless” dogs; those that are really “entrenched in their ways” for a long period of time. This train option is beneficial, whereas, it allows dogs to progress at a more natural pace and does not “pressure” them to perform new tasks when dealing with already such high levels of aggression and/or anxiety. The level of structure and routine the dogs go through, during this training, builds the dogs’ understanding of what is expected of them in regards to behaviors; no matter the environment. This option is most desired for owners because (during the dogs’ training) they will also, on occasion, receive training on the “handling” of their dogs.

*all dogs that come through any board and train option will be trained on prong and electric collars. Owners will receive training on both tools which includes when and how to use them correctly.

About the owner
Dan Alsteen is the owner and trainer at Titletown K9 Academy. With over 11 years of training experience, Dan has worked with dogs ranging from “house pets” to dual purpose military and law enforcement patrol K9s. Dan is a certified K9 Trainer, Handler, and AKC certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator as well as NePoPo® Gold Student Graduate. He has completed a 13 week course where he worked with some of the best trainers in the industry. This training included behavior modification, odor detection, human apprehension, competitive obedience, and wide range of skills and tasks. Dan has had success with extremely aggressive dogs that owners were told were "untrainable” or “hopeless”. Dan believes that a strong routine and structure, along with respect of space and boundaries, creates a bond that leads dogs through a rehabilitation process which in turn creates happier and calmer dogs.
